In case anyone is interested, the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy tab is available today at Sellout Woot for $199.99. It is a refurbished model and it includes both WiFi and 3G connections (you choose either Verizon or Sprint). Great price if anyone is looking for a "true" Android tablet out of the box (don't need to root to get access to the Android Market) under $200.

It is the 16 GB model and it is loaded with Android 2.2, not Honeycomb.

It is the original model tablet, so it is a bit long in the tooth (no Honeycomb, no dual-core Tegra processor, about a year and a half old), but considering that you can also get internet access via a cellular connection, it is a pretty good deal. Now in order to have 3G access, you would need to sign up with either Verizon or Sprint, but you would not be obligated to sign a contract, you can go month to month. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a 3G capable tablet and want to have the 3G data connectivity, you may as well look at the promo Verizon is currently offering....sign up for a two year contract for a tablet and you can get the Motorola Xoom for $200.

nah no contracts for me, I don't even do data on my phone and have wifi at home
