acer a500 LCD HELP

Hi i am new here and need some help my kid has a Acer ICONIA TAB A500 with the 10" screen
well she broke the glass screen and the Lcd to so i got a replacement Glass and LCD
And put the new one in and now it wont work at all the power light comes on but nothing esle
does any one know what mite be wrong.
I checked all my conections and even watch a clip on have to replace it but the screen does not come
any help please.

Does the backlight at least come on? If not I would say you have a defective replacement screen or breaking the original has shorted out a power supply for the backlight. I haven't opened mine yet so I can't really help with any thing else.

thanks bt no the back light does not come on the one that was in it worked but the glass was broke and the lcd had lines going threw so thats why i got a new glass with a lcd

You've got a dud new glass. Return it and get another.
