How can we tell if the App will work with a tablet or just with Phones. Have a Samsung facinate with a load of apps and would like to use some on my Acer?? Is it a download and see if it works sort of thing? Best Place for Apps?

I've noticed several app descriptions that specify whether or not they'll work on a tablet. If the description doesn't say, then it's pretty much "download and see if it works sort of thing" as you say. The Android Market and Amazon Appstore are very popular and pretty safe to download from.
