APN? 3G int'l, virgin b/band, Aus

I have virgin broadband mobile internet, came in a huawei modem.
Been using the sim card, w/out the modem, directly in laptop for 3 years.
Recently, been using it in a huawei wifi/mifi router.
Want to us it now in MZ601, Int'l 3G Xoom.
Have tried numerous variations of APN's, with no luck.
One apn appears to have been installed by default by the sim, but is not able to be edited, and also does not work.

Any idea's/advice?
Considering ditching virgin, going wth optus/voda data sim.

(Virgin themselves appear to know less than me about APN's, and my version is not nextg version, before it is asked..)

Yes, that is the settings you'd use in an android phone.
None work for data only, such as tablet.
On the plus side, telstra's next g does work.
I tried optus for a week, and with next g being 3 times faster, literally..
So, now I have next g.
And, its faster than my home wireless.
So, bugger virgin, optus, etc.
