Archos 7 , ebook reader?

hi, i needed some ebook reader light reading 2~4 hours a day (or charge) MAX.
so insead of buying a kindle i thought I buy archos 7, so I can sometimes watch a video on youtube, use twitter/facebook/check mail etc.

Because primarily this device will be used for ebook reading. As a noob, i am not sure if android market place does work by default, (or can it work by 'official' update or any safe 'unofficial' update) ?

I have to warn you here, the Archos 7 Home tablet is one of the absolute worst devices I have ever used. Save yourself some frustration and find another alternative. If you post the amount you are thinking of investing I'm sure people would be willing to offer alternatives that offer much greater functionality.
