Over the weekend, Asus made a ton of Transformer Pad TF300 owners happy by starting the rollout of Android 4.2 to the device. Folks in the US are getting the rollout first, while the rest of the globe will get it later on in the coming weeks. That's not all of the news from Asus though. They plan on rolling out at least Android 4.1 to most of their other tablets sometime in Q2. Here's a quote with some additional detail,

Along with all of the goods Jelly Bean 4.2 brings, including widgets on the lock-screen and user profiles for multiple users, ASUS will also have significant updates in tow for its App Locker, its virtual keyboard, the lock-screen and setup wizards. Users can grab the upgrade over-the-air so be sure to take a quick trip to the Settings > About Tablet menu where you’ll be able to pull this one down.

In related news, ASUS has confirmed several other tablets in its lineup that will get Android 4.1 in the second quarter of this year. These tablets include the Transformer Pad Infinity, the ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10, and the MeMO Pad. We would have loved to see the absolute latest version of Jelly Bean for these particular devices, and perhaps that is still in the cards, but for now ASUS is only promising 4.1.

It's awesome to see how serious Asus is at bringing the newest versions of Android to their devices.

Your Infinity should be at 4.1.1. Check Settings/about and if you aren't seeing 4.1.1 press System update.

Cheers

Yup... updated last night...
What are the things that are new?
I now can open "Master Developer Chart"... it would crash with 4.0.3.
