auxiliary keyboard for tablet not working

Hi Please can anybody help me! I have just bought a Jex Delux 10.1 Tablet (almost same specifications as a Advent Vega) and as the docking station is not out yet, I have bought a keyboard/case for it. However when attached it to the tablet via the USB port nothing seem to be working on the keyboard. I'm a complete novice with tablets AND the ANDROID system, would really appreciate any information and advice PLEASE!!!

there is a high possibility that your keyboard is not supported by that tablet, at least how it is configured. What version of Android is it running? Can you also provide any additional details about the tablet?

Hi Android 2.2, not much more I can say, I bought it from Jexaa Ltd who say it is the same as the advent vega, apart from 3G and it is supposed to support flash (although it doesn't at present, I reported this to Jexaa, and they have sent me a link to download flash, but it seems I need a SD card in order to download it, so I'm waiting for that to arrive.

You shouldn't need an SD Card to download files, not sure why that is an issue. Start by going to the Settings->About tab and posting what you see there.
