back up of apps - so can transfer to another tablet

Hi all have smashed my screen on my 972xs and the video card is fast dying - luckily have another one - but want to back up my apps and data to my sd card so i can swap it - does anyone know how to do this - synced it all but when i transferred it still showed previous data and couldn't find the apps on my sd card

tried installing that helium program but that says you need to connect to desktop - and of course desktop doesn't have any drivers for android tablet - can anyone help pls

The Helium app specifically says you must go to their site to install a "program" on your PC (not drivers), did you do that?

Is the tablet rooted?

If so, install Titanium for backup/restore.
