Can I tether to iPhone 4?

Morning all,

Has anyone successfully tethered the Onda vi40 to an iPhone?

My iPhone "personal network" is switched on, and laptop can see and connect to the network, but Onda doesn't see it. Any suggestions?

I have an iPhone 4 and it works with an Asus Tablet with ICS.

Does your phone have an apostrophe in it? Quite common as they typically are something like Doug's Phone

Try changing the name of the AP (name of the phone in Settings - General - About - Name)

That was it - removed the apostrophe and now all sorted!

Recently got an iPhone4s but it wouldn't tether to one of my tablets. This information was just what I needed! I removed Apple's apostrophe and rebooted both devices. Works perfectly now. Thanks so much for the great help.
