(Pre-Honeycomb) Is there a way to get actionable alerts on your home screen? I am looking for an example of push alerts/reminders that show up and user can select something in the actual alert/notification to take action (not just icon at top of notification bar that needs to be selected). For example, a pop-up alert from your mobile carrier tells you that you need to pay your bill and you can touch an icon, button or something in the alert that takes you to their portal or app to actually pay your bill.
Can you get actionable alert messages (notifications) on home screen?
