Capability Question

Hello:

Is it possible to use the Transformer, with Keyboard (for USB access) to play DVD videos? I would like to hook up a small portable, USB DVD reader/writer to a USB port, hook up an HDMI TV to the mini HDMI port (and thus to an HDMI TV), and I want the Transformer to play videos. Is this possible? I've asked a couple of dealers here in England and gotten different answers so I am confused!

If this is possible, does Android 3.1 already have the Software needed to do this or will I have to use something else and if so what?

My mate tried with a lg blue-ray drive and a oem acer laptop DVD drive and it didn't work,
Don't think there is a way to do this without writing the drivers,
If intel bring out the x86 android tablet maybe there will include DVD support...
