NEWS POST 02/014/2012:

Alright folks, for those of you state side, we all know what day it is, so to show you all my love, I'm happy to announce that I have a prelimnary working version of V1.3! It won't yet be released to the public yet, but those wanting to volunteer to test, send me a PM.

Also I've noticed many requests for a video tutorial on how to flash the tablet, I'll be sure to record one soon and post it for ease of upgrading for those unsure how to

DISCLAIMER: Remember this is an expermiental version, I have not tested for stablity, so there are chances of bricking your tablet, so please do not volunteer if you're not able to or unsure how to recover from a brick. Remember to back up your tablet before any kind of flashing, as it will wipe/erase any data you have on the tablet. This is an "at your own risk" process and I will not be held responsible for any ill effects or results. Thank you

This is made specifically for the 8024. It might work for the 1024, but I have no way of knowing as I do not own the device, only the 8024 and have only tested it on a 8024. most likely it would not work as the 8024 has a resistive screen where the 1024 has a capacitive

Dunno what value you used, but setting LCD resolution to 160 made Docs fc too, while 172 worked fine.

Also, what do you mean by Docs? what app is that?

Or do you mean google docs?

Yes, Google Docs. Latest version fc in 160dpi. I've found and older version (1.0.16) that works fine (but shows no documents for some reason).

yeah, I changed the DPI to 172 on my tablet and it worked fine, but have you tried using the compatibility mode? it might fix the issue for both docs and Facebook

No, I haven't. I don't even have fb app. Someone else reported that it's not working. I just wanted to find out what was causing Docs to fc because I also use 160dpi in my CFW. ;)

fwiw, on my 1024 the latest FB from the market is working with the screen set to 160. it was FC'ing this weekend but I think it was a FB issue due to the notifications as my Captivate was having issues as well with FB.

Thank you for putting together this update. How do we install this ROM in a stock 8024?
