Can someone give me a good list of pros and cons for rooting? If I am a intermediate computer guy and novice Android guy, should I root or not??

My reasons from greatest to least for our 7022 would be:
1) Titanium Backup (This is a life saver!)
2) Adblock. Works great for blocking ads in apps as well as the browser
3) Edit build.prop to change screen DPI (Much much better than the stock 200 dpi)
4) Link2SD (Move apps to SD card and not the NAND! Much more space)
5) Chainfire3ds (Play nvidia tegra games and scale down games)
6) V6 Supercharger. (Great script to improve 7022 performance by a lot)

And you have to be rooted for all that? Is Titanium Backup like ClockWorkRecovery?

Yep for all. Titanium backup back ups apps rather than everything

I completely agree with nba. I also enjoy using cm7. Every now and then I will restore tablet to stock but it doesn't last long until I am back on cm7.
