COBY MID7048 FactoryReset - bricked

Hi all,

after successful rooting and updating my new MID7048 (thanks Vampire!) I was not able to install CWM.
Simply because of NOT WIPE the system (my mistake). So my Tablet was working well with a rooted Android
but without accessing the recovery system.

Going stupid more and more I installed via Android Partition Manager the BOOT.IMG of VampireInfo.

With the great result that now the Tablet ist totally bricked I am afraid.

The current system mode:

Only the COBY screen is visible - the system is not able to boot, no recovery
On my PC there is just the "Android Interface Device" available, but it is not possible
for me to connect.

IS THERE ANY FACTORY RESET PROCEDURE for MID7048 ?!
or
IS THERE ANY WAY TO COME into the SYSTEM ?

power on and volume down did you download the system restore of mid7048 from vampirefo? download it and first of all you need to install the clock work mod

Power ON then Volume Down and apply update choose the Clock Work Mod you need to flash after that apply update again locate that 7048_system_restore.zip in your ext_sd

thank you very much for your fast feedback and information...

But I am not able to come into the recovery !!!

I just see the "COBY" logo on the screen, also when I try to get into recovery by pressing POWER + VOLUME-

turn off the device again, then do the Power + Volume down, hmm try to find a pin then insert the pin in the reset if the device turn off now do the recovery my friend have a problem like that and i successfully fix his 7048

1st try to reset using pin
2nd power + volume down
3rd apply update and install CWM
4th apply update again and 7048 system restore zip

this step's i've done to fix the tablet of my friend,

PS: you need to be fast after you reset using pin, then do the 2nd step power + volume down

I try to do this, also in different combinations with the keys.
at this moment without success..

Is it possible that the 7048_system_restore.zip has to find by RESET on the external SD ?!

yeah you need to put that in ext sd lol, and the cwm put in the ext sd

I have also placed copys and rename them to UPDATE.ZIP and MID7048.ZIP but the system hangs still at the COBY screen

no possibility of entry in recovery or system

my hope was to find a confidential Button-combination of pressing the 3 buttons by coby

Not bloody likely. If acidburn23's advice doesn't work, your only real alternative is to exchange your tablet cor a new one.

Yes ... I am afraid this is the only solution

But I wanna thank Acidburn23 for his fast and competent hints and advises.

What I have learned is that I just have to simply follow the detail instructions in the treads of the forum
without any compromisses or personal suggest without know how.
