In case the experience is any help to anyone:
I just tried installing "Joiku Light" on my Nokia E63, to see if that worked before thinking about the premium version.
Joiku makes your Nokia phone into a wireless hotspot.
I found that my Windows PC could see the Joiku wireless hotspot, but my Android tablet could not find it (although it could see every other hotspot in the area) .

From what I have read android only recognizes infrastructure wlan and mobile devices don't have the ability to produce this kind of signal..
So I guess we need a phisical connection via usb..
Hope someone can help me find a program that does this...

I have tethered my tablets and laptop, and even other phones from my cell phone, been doing so for sometime now.
