About a week ago, the popular PC hardware info app "CPU-Z" just came to Android. Now the popular PC app can tell you all about your Android device with some quick and easy "at a glance" info. This is one of those "must have" utilities for folks who tinker with and upgrade their PCs a great deal. Of course, it's not quite as useful on an Android smartphone since you are rarely (if ever) upgrading any of the internals on your device. Still, it does offer some interesting details about your phone that you probably didn't know through the apps that are included stock with your device. Here's a quick description quote with the details,
Android version of the popular CPU identification tool for PC/Windows., CPU-Z is a free application that reports information about your device.
- SoC (System On Chip) name, architecture, clock speed for each core ;
- System information : device brand & model, screen resolution, RAM, storage.;
- Battery information : level, status, temperature ;
- Android 2.2 and above (version 1.03 and +)
Note : Settings screen and debug (version 1.03 and +)
If CPU-Z closes abnormally (in case of bug), the settings screen will appear at the next run. You can use that screen to remove the main detection features of the application, and make it run.
Thanks for the tip, Narsil!
