Craig CMP741e doesn't even start!

I just bought a Craig CMP741e. I brought it home, plugged it in, and pushed the on button. The screen flashed for an instant, then settled down to a barely perceptible glow. Ok, i thought, even though the instructions say you can start using it as soon as you plug it in, maybe it actually needs a bit of charging first. I tried again after an hour. Then after 2 hours and again after 5. No change. Push and hold the button, and i get flash and glow. Push and hold it again, and the glow goes out. I've tried poking the reset button, both with it on and off, plugged in and not. I've tried different combinations involving the two voulme buttons and the button in front with no results.

Am i missing something or should i just take it back?

​I have the same Tablet and mine works fine, i think you should return it .

Hi dr_pepper, welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets. I'd also say return it. You've already done all you could be expected to do, and it still doesn't work.
