Deleted Files

Anyone know how I can recover a deleted file on my a500. Kids deleted some videos that I had yet to transfer and I would really like to find them.

Hello Bond, and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, there is no "Recycle Bin" for Android and, as far as I know, no app that can recover a deleted file. If anyone knows of one, I hope they post a solution for you here.

If the videos were orginally saved to the Micro SD card, you might try removing the card from the A500 and mounting it to a PC. Then try to recover the erased files with recovery software. There are some freeware/shareware recovery programs available on the web.

Ive used Data Recovery Software Products - Runtime Software Products (fat32 version) only downside is it will find EVERYTHING you have ever taken off the card (unless youve done DOD format). But you can find what your after and recover it to your local PC and then put it back.

Videos were on internal memory... kinda thought there was nothing I could do but wanted to check with those who know more than I.. Thanks alot for your responses.
