Display as desktop

hi all

please help! I want my tablet to always display as desktop rather than mobike. I followed the instructions on the website to go into about:debug, settings, uastring and set to desktop which worked on some sites but not all. so I contacted sony who told me to do a factory rese, which I did, and now it doesn't work at all. they've now come back and said the default is mobile and i'm going to have to use the settings in the browser eacvh time which is really annoying.

any guidance very much appreciate!

Check out some other browsers. If you have ICS, then ICS Browser+ is good. Also Firefox beta (add the Phony add on to get UA String selections) or Dolphin Browser HD.

thanks, that's really helpful. i've gone with Dolphin, although i'm still trying to figure out how to import my favourites
