DMCLIENT Has Stopped, Touchscreen Not Working

First problem I have ever had on my TF700T....For apparently no reason, when the tablet boots up, the DMCLIENT HAS STOPPED WORKING message appears. The touch screen is not working. WHen you turn the tablet, the screen turns as it is supposed to. It is connected and receiveing email as I can see NEW EMAIL RECEIVED. Randomly, it will slide to another screen as if I touched something. At times, it seems to feel my touch...just a little. I have cold booted and I have just COPIED alll my files to a backup drive and about to wipe info and start from factory reset. I do NOT want to do that and this is my first time on a forum and was hoping someone could help before I lose everything. THanks for your help in advance!
