Does screen protector for Haipad 701 (with resistive screen)?

curious, thinking of getting a screen protector for my tablet but wanting to know if the layer might affect the resistive screen touch performance - any experience out there?

My M701-R came with some kind of a screen protector - it has round cutouts for the "Back" button, camera, and (for some reason) the LED. It appears to be the same kind of material as the protector sheet that was on the screen for shipping, but the cutouts clearly indicate it is meant to be put on the device when using it, except there was no way I could find to get it to stick to the screen without wrinkles/bubbles under it.
