Instead of buying another Galaxy Note 10.1 like mine, I bought a new Asus 300TF/keyboard bundle for my wife's birthday. The Note is lagging behind in performance these days. I seldom need the pen, I doubt she will need one either. The docking keyboard looks more useful.

The keyboard dock is incredibly useful, I had a tf101 with the dock and for the most part it could replace my laptop for most functions. That said I believe, if memory serves me correctly, the processor in the Note 10.1 is considerably more powerful than the Tegra3 in the Asus tablet. Still if you don't find the pen useful regardless of performance you will get a lot more use out of the dock.

So far she is loving the new Asus. It is a good fit for her business. The keyboard was the biggest feature going for it. She forgets sometimes that it has a touchscreen because the keyboard and cursor pad work so well. I may get her a 3G adapter to access her data plan where there is no wifi.
