A new Ice Cream Sandwich Android tablet is about to enter the arena. It's called the eGlide Pro X from a company called Ematic. The tablet actually comes with some decent specs, including a 9.7-inch screen, for a budget price of only $219.99. Here's a spec breakdown:
  • 9.7-Inch Display
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • 400MHz GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • Ice Cream Sandwich/Android 4.0

Just this morning, I have ordered the 4Gb version from WalMart... current around $150.
All other specs look to be the same, and once Ive used it for awhile, I will likely 'look under the hood' to see if I can 'upgrade' it...

Already own 'a few too many' SuperPAD-types... many of which need 'brain surgery' :rolleyes: and one of the eGlide4... EGL25BL, codenamed 'Tiny'. :p
If this one is ANYWHERE near as good as Tiny, then I might sell the SuperPADs on ebay for parts!

(Well, ok... all but 2... Shep (the working one with 4.03) and Curly (brain-dead copy of Shep)...

I look forward to posting MY observations about 'the new guy'...
