I recently downloaded some .epub files and moved them from my downloads folder to the kindle folder using astro. However, I can't figure out how to get those files to showup in my kindle library. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if the Kindle app allows .epub reading. I use Aldiko, it is a great app! you should ckeck it out

That is correct, Kindle doesn't support epub but there are plenty of other reader apps in the Play store that do (some really great ones). If you want to keep everything under the Kindle app though you can get programs such as calibre to convert the epubs to a different format that the Kindle app can read.

If you are wanting to stay with the Kindle app, google Calibre. This program will convert just about any ebook file into another ebook file. I use the kindle app on my phone and PC, so when I get my hands on an epub document, I can convert it to a mobi file and load it to my kindle folder.
