Firefox 4.0 for Coby?

Today new Firefox 4.0 for Android was released by Mozilla.

It said that Android 2.0 if sufficient to run app but I cannot download and install Firefox browser from Coby - it says "The requested item could not be found".

May be Coby Kyros 7015 is not in the supported device list or something else.

Any luck of installing Firefox 4.0 on Coby, anyone?

That is it exactly. Kyros has the v6 processor, Firefox 4 requires v7.

It isn't actually fast at all compared to the stock Android browser. You aren't missing out on much.

i think opera mini 6 is the fastest, but it was very crashy the last time i tried. for now i just use the standard android browser.

Yes, both mini 6 and the latest Opera Mobile locked up my coby, requiring reboots. Considering that firefox is what, 19 megs?... even if firefox would work, Dolphin mini is looking better and better.

I've tried dolphin mini that ran very quickly on my Coby when I had it. Its very stable and it didn't crash on me one time.
