I want to buy this tablet - $175 - shipping and forum discount code included:
Flytouch 3,10" Fly Touch 3 Tablet PC,Android 2.2 Tablet PC 3G,GPS,WIFI Support - CNDIGIT

Will use it for general use, nothing fancy.
Read books (PDF, mobi, epub), wireless internet (no 3G), digital photo frame, maybe watch movies instead of computer, maybe some simple games.
My wife will use it for Internet browsing and downloading images.
I already have an LG Optimus One phone and I use it as o phone mainly Not many games, not so many apps.

What's your experience with cndigit.com?
Is there a chance my tablet is the "lucky" one to freeze or have problems?
I don't think I'll upgrade to Android 2.3 (if and when available) or use a custom ROM.

Got the tablet, had to pay around $30 custom taxes !!
Works just fine, only tested a few functions so far.

Also, one rather big problem: the battery is draining very quickly: 1% per minute.

Is the root operation 100% safe?

I want to root the tablet and delete the battery stats file, maybe it helps.
But, is the root 100% safe, I eally don't want to brick my tablet.
Also, in case of emergengy, is there a recover/reset procedure?
I found this:
"Factory reset is easy, just power off the tablet. Then power it back on holding power, menu and back(the big circle) wait a moment and you'll see a message indicating that you're in recovery mode and 5 minutes later you're back to factory."
Is this accurate ?
