Does anyone have a nice media player app that also has a visually appealing media gallery that uses the thumbnails for browsing the loaded videos?
Unfortunately, I'm going to relate this to the proprietary iPad...
With an iPad, you can rip a movie into the proper iPad format (I use the presets in Handbrake). Then you can add a thumbnail to the movie just like with mp3 album art. This makes choosing/browsing videos you transfer to it visually appealing.
With my N7, I had to load up the MX Player, which is handling everything I throw at it. But, it doesn't have a nice thumbnail viewer. It just pulls the first scene from the video. There may be a way to add the movie poster artwork as the first scene, but I haven't found a good solution.
I got DVD rips and I'd like to set an intro image that shows as the thumbnail.
