I have prestigio multipad 7,0, 8GB, HD+ and android 4.1. When I try to update, I get message that android is already up to date. What should I do?
I have already googled and found root could be necessary, but I would like to avoid installing something I never heard before. If I really have to install something, please, don't suggest something I have to pay.

I plan to update to 4.4., eventually, but I can't do that if I can't even update to 4.2.

You may need to go to the browser is settings - app manager - all and also clear the defaults/settings

I've tried clearing defaults, settings, etc. Not able to update to version 4.2 on my galaxy note 10.1. Any suggestions?
