Hello everyone!

I'm Jeff! I Just bought an Android Tablet yesterday and I wanted to know a little more about it. It is a Hipstreet Aurora with Android 4.0.4 (ICS). I bought a cheap one for an obvious reason:

I wanted something cheap to start with since I'm a first time tablet user and I wanted to try it out without making a hole in my budget in case I don't like it.

I heard a lot of good things about Android and the fact that you can modify it a lot without having to hack it so I figured it would serve me better than an iPad or something else even tho I own mostly Apple products.

The Specs of my Tablet are the following:

Model Number: HS-7DTB6-4GB (UPGRADED WITH A 16GB MicroSD CARD)
Android Version: 4.0.4
Build Number: nuclear_gp707pub-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20120830 test-keys

I think that these infos are the ones you need to know if I ever need help!

A little about myself, I'm a soldier in the Canadian Forces and since I travel a lot I figured I needed something to carry around that is not as big as my laptop and all. My main goal with my tablet will be to install some good apps for productivity, modify it to make it my very own (themes, colors, sounds, alerts etc...), install a few games and I want to find a good Book reader and also if you guys have some site ideas where I can get books it would be awesome!!

Thanks for having me here and tty soon!

Jeff

Hello Jeff, congratulations on your new Hipstreet Aurora and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, there isn't a forum specifically for your tablet. If/when you have a problem or a question, the Android Tablet Q&A section would be the place to go. Just click that link and you'll be there. You'll also find a lot of information and some reviews of your tablet, if you do a Google search for "HS-7DTB6-4GB". As far as apps and games are concerned, check the Android Tablet Applications & Extras of the forum for some ideas. In particular, http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...9818-5-ebook-reader-apps-android-devices.html has some information regarding eBook Reader apps and both http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-apps/37959-how-get-free-e-books.html and http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-apps/24851-free-apps-free-books.html will get you started on finding some books. That should keep you busy for a while. Enjoy your new tablet and the forum Jeff!
