I'm new to the Android fora/blog arena. I use a LG Ally, which is a nice little phone if it weren't for its speed and user memory (both meager). I currently want to make Google Maps work on our Coby mid9742 tablet. I flashed it enough to get Play.Google to work (ta da-a-a), but now the tab "looks" like a Samsung P6210...which doesn't support GM according to Google Maps and Samsung. Any fixes out there? I don't use social media because we're pretty busy with volunteering, babysitting our 21-month old granddaughter, and other retiree stuff. D.R.
