Hipstreet Flare 2 - Firmware

Hi,

Im trying to find out if i can update my Hipstreet OS, currently it is on Android 4.4 and most the apps i use wont run on it (Plex, BBC iPlayer etc)

I did find this website
Download Hipstreet flare 2 hs 9dtb7 firmware firmware - updated November 2020
but other than it not being a secure website, downloading does not work, it just goes in a circle (as the website is not secure i used a VM to browse it)

Any ideas anyone?

Hipstreet doesn't have any firmware updates on their website. Apps no longer function as they are targeting newer versions of Android. Android itself hasn't seen an update on your tablet in some five or six years. Even links on XDA leading to copies of the stock ROM no longer function.

Get a new tablet.
