How can I tell if my Tablet has been rooted?

Is there a way to tell if my tablet has been rooted? It's a generic 7" via8650 (WM8650) with a Black Jack, Vibrate, and Android 2.2.

I used Z4root (Permanent) but Titanium Backup would NOT install, so I am a bit leary about moving forward unless I can back-up my tablet first in case anything goes awry.

Is it a xoom? If not and if it has the real android market, then it is rooted. Does it say cyanogenmod or vegan when it is booted

It's not a Xoom. It says NOTHING when it boots. There is an Icon of the Android Robot that says App Market.
I need some other clues please...like folders that show up when it's rooted as opposed to when it is NOT rooted.
