how do I put music and videos on my Haipad M701-R

I have tried to put a video on my sd card but it will only play sound no video on the screen. Anyone have the same problem. I am new to all this but want to learn how to get the most out of my pad.

Please check if you have selected
Settings -> Sound & Display -> Output select -> none
If it is set to HDMI you will only see black during video playback on the display and get the picture through the HDMI port.
If not you might have a incompatible video format.

what player are you using to play file with
act 1 video player is excellent
