How to copy files to SD card

Just fitted a 32GB SD card to my 7" Flytouch and am keen to load a few movies and music.
I've copied a bunch of songs to a USB memory stick (U Disk), but am at a loss as to the procedure to get them from the U Disk to the 'My Music' and 'My Video' folders.
Any assistance much appreciated.

OK, figured it out. Gotta hold the icon DOWN ............

Another issue that's only become apparent is that I've been battling with a FAKE microSD card. I purchased a 32GB card that looks like 32 GB in Windows but is really only 4 GB consequently corrupting any file exceeding that capacity. BEWARE!

I'm pretty sure he means long press the icon until the options appear.
