How to Root Lenovo IdeaPad A1 Android 4?

If you go to Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A-F - Page 5 - xda-developers, a couple of posts down there is a guide on how to do this. I haven't tried it yet so can't speak to how easy it is but it sounds relatively painless.
