I'm looking for a way to root my new MID Android Tablet PC model WM8850. This is my first tablet, and am having some trouble finding information about it online as far as rooting and ROMs are concerned.
I'm wondering if the One Click Root will work for my model tablet? I'm too nervous to just go ahead and try it out because I don't want to accidentally brick my brand new toy.

edit: Searching some more online, I found this website, just wondering if anyone has ever used RootBurner for their tablet? This particular site describes rooting without a firmware update. I'm curious as to how to actually find the firmware my tablet uses right now so I can back it up in case the worst happens.
