How to unlock tablet if I forgot The ( pattern password)

My son created a password with the dot to dot password and now he has forgot it. We have powered off and back on, that did not work and we have also tried resetting the tablet and that did not work either can anyone help us?

What tablet, brand, model? Depending on the manufacturer there is a couple of things you can do. Did you tried calling them?

Welcome to the forum

The pattern lock or any other security is there for a reason, and it works pretty well. If you try accessing the tablet enough times it will ask for your Google credentials which will allow you access if it is WiFi connected. The only other option is a factory reset. This thread may help.
