I need flash player for MID 7012

I have an android device...and a Windows brain. I know everyone with a Coby tablet has had the problem of installing flash, but you have to talk to me like you're speaking to a foreigner--a 2-year-old foreigner. Where can I find a download for flash for the MID 7012? If I can't just click "download," can you tell me what to do? Everything seems to direct me back to the Android Marketplace, which, of course, won't let me download it. And I've come across something on this site that indicates the browser that comes with it won't work well with flash. If that's the case, can you tell me where to download a browser that will? I saw something about a shark...er, I mean, a dolphin. Thank you - Danke - Gracias - Merci - Obrigato - Domo

Actually, getting Adobe flash was easy. I just went to the Get Jar website and downloaded it. My kyros isn't rooted or anything. Download it from the site then install it using the app install program on the tablet.

I sideloaded a flash 10.3 apk and flash 11 apk and they both did not work on my 7012.

There is a thread on here about getting flash lite to work but it is only version 9.

7022 can use latest Flash because its processor is a Cortex A8 chip, while 7012 uses an older and slower processor. AFAIK you need a patched vesion for ARM9 or ARM11, I am not sure what will work in 7012. Look for version for 7015/7016 as they seem to have the same CPU.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I went to GetJar and the Amazon appstore, but searching for Adobe and/or Flash did nothing. Any other suggestions?:confused::confused: Does anyone know why the GetJar site would have it for 7022 and not 7012?

I think the only "official" Flash version for old ARM archtectures like ARM11 and ARM9 is Flash Lite (but I may be wrong). But there is a patched/hacked version of an earlier full Flash version that works with 7015/7016 and it may work with 7012 as well.

Could you by any chance give me a link to download whatever it is that works with 7015/7016? Because if I search "patched hacked full flash lite arm11 arm9," even if I get any answers, I won't know what to do with them. Thank you!

OK, let's try... If this site:
Kyros MID 7012 Android Tablet From Coby Visit FCC | Android News and Reviews

is correct, 7012 has a 800MHz Telechips ARM1176 (therefore ARM11 architecture, like I said before) CPU. The Telechips model is TCC8902.

Doing a little research, it seems that Haipad M701 has the same CPU, and actually there is a Flash 10.1 version for it, which led me to a post in this very forum:
http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...pment/19389-adobe-flash-10-1-haipad-m701.html

Download link seems to be live, so good luck. ;)

Anybody have any luck on this? Looking at the log's I see this entry:
W/PackageManager( 795): Unknown permission android.webkit.permission.PLUGIN in package com.adobe.flashplayer

I looked around the web, but didn't find anything conclusive as to whether or not this is a normal error. Someone said it was, someone said it wasn't.

I installed the version 10.1 from the previous page. Installed fine, but I don't see it or notice it working.
I have a 7012.

I uninstalled previous versions of Flash Player and tried this one - Armv6 - and still doesn't work.

My bet is that these 10.1/10.2 patched versions only work with Froyo, that's why it doesn't work with 7012. Anyone tried Flash lite? Does it play videos as well?
