just got a coby mid9742 for Christmas and find that it is forever loading video...not real good at this stuff, so called coby and found it is happening because it didn't come with a flash player. when trying to install adobe flash player, says it's not compatable?

Flash Player is no longer available on tablets but there is other ways to install it, but you can't upgrade it.
Here is the file but you need APK installer to install on you tablet

- Flash Player APK files are available for download direct from Adobe at Archived Flash Player versions
- If installed, regardless of how it is installed, Adobe will continue to produce security fixes for the time being. However, no new features will be implemented.
- All that is necessary for the OP to install Flash Player once it is downloaded from Adobe via the 9742's browser is to have the Unknown Sources field in settings checked and a file manager. Fortunately, the Coby Kyros line includes ES File Explorer for the purpose.
