Is 2 Pounds Heavy for a Tablet? Is 11.6 Screen Too Big?

I am getting a 11.6 inch Windows 8 tablet(Acer Iconia W700) for my birthday and weight is 2 pounds.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 and i can hold on it on 1 hand for a long time and the 7 inch sceen is good and very portable.

I know this is may be a stupid question because i am a builder.

But i was wondering is 2 pounds heavy for a tablet for to hold on 1 hand for a long time?
And is 11.6 inch sceen too big and is it still portable enough?

What tablet size do you prefer? everyone

What you are asking would require a different answer for different people.. 2 punds is not heavy for a tablet that size but may be more than some people could hold for long periods, but not so much for others.

For me, the answer to both your questions is yes. It's way too heavy and not portable enough for the way I use my tablets.

It seems that 'bigger is better' is becoming the new mantra for the tablet industry. And, the same seems to be true for the smartphone manufacturers. The 7" phablet will soon replace the 7" or mini-tablet.
