Just bought a 7" Lanpad, any updates available?

I just bought a 7" lanpad, haven't received it yet, and was wondering if there are any firmware/os updates available for this model? According to the website 7" Lenpad adroid 1.5 Google Apps
it has a via 8508 in it. I haven't been able to find much on the web about this particular tablet, and I am extremely new to android. Thanks!
