Kaiten Mail - A Variant of K-9 Mail for Tablets, is Looking for ISO Beta Testers

Jesse Vincent, the original developer for K-9 Mail, is working on a new variant of an improved email client targeting Android tablets. As such, he is looking for ISO beta testers for the new project. The project is not in open beta, meaning valid candidates must not distribute the beta builds at this stage. He has elected to put up a post on Reddit asking for volunteers, which has sadly only received 3 upvotes after 3 hours of being posted. The target is to have 5-10 testers, in which the top upvoted users would be eligible for the beta test.

K-9 Mail has been one of the better alternative email clients for Android devices, being a clear improvement on the stock email client that comes packaged with most Android devices, and has traditionally been an open-source project. The developer are showing interest in development for additional tablet variants, 7-inches or above. Since the only Android 3.0 tablets are 10-inches, this is indicative of an effort to work on a tablet-optimized version of the popular client optimized for use on tablets running previous versions of Android. This would be very pleasant news to all Android tablet owners.
