Kindle reader

I have an Asus TF300t transformer tablet. At first, kindle reader worked okay. Recently after using normally for say 15 mins the reader starts turning back pages and/or changing font size by itself. This cannot be stopped without turning off tablet for a while. The software updates automatically.
I wondered if this is a specific Asus tablet problem or a generic android issue?
Any ideas?

The way you explained it and the lack of other problems mentioned I would say it's more likely a Kindle Reader problem, not Android and not ASUS. Try going to settings - apps - all, find tghe Kindle app and tap it. Tell it to clear cache and anything else available there then force close and restart your TF300
