M701 - Flickering white screen

Hi guys,

My M701 fell on the ground breaking the touch screen.
When I opened the device I saw that only the Touch-Screen was broken so I ordered a new touchscreen from PandaWill.
The LCD screen worked fine (image was clear etc.) (altough I ofcourse could not touch it...).

Today my Touch screen finally arrived and I tested the device again (before repairing the Touchscreen).

When I plug in the power the device turns on with a white screen and after a few seconds the screen begins flickering white.
What can this be?

Any ideas?

After tampering a bit with it the screen doesn't flash anymore. Just when I put in the charger it will light up white (as if the device can never be shutdown)

You might need to re-seat the connector (unplug it and carefully re-install) for the screen, or the drop weakened an internal connection somewhere and it's only being seen now after more handling.

Re-seating the connector is about all you can do.
