Mid7015a rooted with Nook app but won't sync with server or load local files

I have seen quite a few posts about trouble with the Nook app but not any clear answers. Most suggest using a different app.

I'm using a rooted Mid7015a with the nook app but it won't sync with B&N to get my ebooks nor can I load local pdf files from my documents. Can anyone confirm that the Nook app works property on the 7015?

Update: I have managed to get ePub files to load once they were the Nook/My Documents folder (which is the expected behavior). However, I'm still stuck getting the app to sync with the B&N server to get my library items like it does with the nook app on my phone.

Update2: The nook app on my phone is version 2.5 while the one on the Kyros is 11 (I assume this is actually 1.1), perhaps the older versions of the nook app no longer sync with the server.

There is issues with the nook app and android tablets.
