Need help accessing internet via ethernet or hotspot-Wondermedia 8650

I'm having trouble accessing the internet via the "hotspot" app on my phone. I entered password, and it shows "remembered" on my tablet, connects briefly then wifi disconnects.

I hooked up an ethernet cable from by PC to the tablet, but it won't connect through that either. Please help!

For the hotspot, was it a public one or at home? If public, try using the browser. There might be a disclaimer to agree to. I know DQ and Austin Public Library both have disclaimers.
