New member here. 2nd posting.
Got myself a cheapy NeoPad M103 recently from Zizzle. First device I got, it had a dead battery, so they sent me a new one. Second one seems ok, but battery lasts only 2 hours. Sigh... I guess you get what you pay for.
Anyway, I've got a small 'issue' with the pre-installed Skype on this thing. The pre-installed Skype version is ver.1 only. I have updated this to the latest version available, no worries. BUT, the webcam isn't getting detected. The camera works as I can actually take pics. So, I believe, it's just Skype. As it is pre-installed, I am unable to uninstall and re-install.
Do I need to update firmware? I have sent email to Spotbuy about new firmware availability and just waiting for a reply.
Do I need to root the device? If so, has anyone tried this and successfully rooted it?
Suggestions will be greatly appreciated here -->
