New market neuters Nook color

I've been reading a bunch of posts here where new market is preventing updates. Cache clearing as suggested is fine and dandy if you want to keep new market, but old market works better without the hassle.

Anybody with trouble may be best served by uninstalling market updates, then freezing "market updater" with titanium backup. It prevents the market from auto updating back to the new version.

You're right, there were a bunch of scattered posts on this. The solution is pretty easy but it is annoying that we should even have to be forced to deal with this thanks to a poor Market implementation by Google.
