New Mid Epad

I just got my daughters Epad in the mail. I know it has wifi, but there is a 3g setting button on there also. I am new to 3g, do I have to have a provider or will it just pick up if service is available?

you will need a provider and extra modem device to use the 3g feature.

Yeah, there are good ones and bad ones. I hear alot of people are loving the ZT-180 after they ROOT it and make some software mods to them. Do some research to see if they are something you might be willing to tweak and mod to get a decent tablet out of.

I wouldn't be too worried about getting a 3g provider yet because there are so many WiFi hotspots around now like Starbucks, Burger King, McDonalds, etc, etc, etc that are free to use.
