Newbie introduction

Hi, I am new here,from Mi USA, am interested in exchangeing info and ideas for developing an android tablet. I bricked my Gentouch78 and am now shopping for something with android 2.3 or can be modded to 2.3. I am looking at a Google Android Mid A816 or A818 but am concerned about it being marketed from China. Any info on this would be appreciated. I wouldnt mind waiting for the Coby Kyros Mid7026, but dont know if it would be any better than the Mid A818. Thanks Chuck

The Viewsonic GTablet can be moderated to Cyanogenmod 7, android 2.3.4 and is around $300 at Office Depot
